This list is not exhaustive or all inclusive whatsoever, but can give people a good start on tracking down the actual climate change data.  More links to climate science can be found at Futurism Now.

  • Average Temperature – Allows the user to access average temperature data by month for virtually any location in the world.
  • Cape Grim: Cape Grim Baseline Air Pollution Station – This station in north-west Tasmania supplies vital information about changes to the atmospheric composition of the Southern Hemisphere.
  • Climate Models Prove More Reliable – Research in the UK has shown that climate change models depend far more on the input parameters such as cloud properties, than the computer hardware or software used as many scientists had previously feared.
  • Climate and Radiation – From the NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center. Includes information about aerosols, clouds, rainfall, remote sensing, current projects, publications and personnel.
  • ClimateDiagrams – Provides climate diagrams for more than 3000 weather stations and for different climate periods from all over the world. Users can also create their own diagrams with their own data.
  • EPA Climate Change
  • Introduction to Climate Dynamics and Climate Modelling – Online textbook providing an overview of the components of the climate system, atmosphere, oceans and ice sheets and of the interactions between them.
  • NASA Goddard Space Center Resources – Global Warming and Climate Change Policy
  • NCDC: Get/View OnLine Climate Data – Repository of U.S. weather observations and climate data, including maps, models, links and publications.
  • NERC: Joint Climate Research Programme – Met Office and National Environment Research Council initiative to strengthen the UK’s reputation in climate science through a number of projects.
  • NOAA Climate Change
  • Suite 101: Meteorology and Climatology – Informative articles on weather data, events, climatology, climate change and other timely weather and climate information.
  • The WACMOS Project – Water Cycle Multimission Observation Strategy is an European Space Agency initiative. It aims to set up a solid scientific basis for the creation of coherent long-term datasets of water-relevant geo-information.
  • UNFCCC Climate Change – Methods and science and data.
  • U.S. Climate Data – Provides information regarding the temperature, precipitation, and sunshine for more than 5000 cities and locations in the United States. Includes climate charts and averages.
  • USA Climate: State Index – Provides climate charts showing precipitation, temperature, and degree days. Based on NOAA US daily climate normals 1971-2000.
  • USDA Climate Change Resource Center
  • World Climate – Climate data and sunrise and sunset displayed in charts and tables for more than 12,000 specific locations in over 140 countries and regions.
  • World Climate Data – Weather rainfall and temperature data with long-term monthly averages for over 20,000 weather stations worldwide.
